EA statement on school crossing patrol proposals

In attempting to meet the gap in funding between what the Education Authority receives and what it needs to operate, a number of potential savings proposals are considered. Some are taken forward and some are not for a variety of reasons. Whilst there was consideration of making changes to school crossing patrols and clothing allowances for school uniforms earlier this year, the EA Board decided not to make savings in these areas.
